Tank Makeovers

Post by goldielocke76 »

So, the bf has been working all weekend. He's moving our HQ from San Jose to Palo Alto, so needless to say, it's been a VERY boring weekend.

I have long since been unhappy with my 10 gallon-- can't decide whether to rehome PZ and get a betta, take it down all together so I have one less water change, or just redo the tank altogether and hope that I am happier with it. I just wish I had room for 1-2 more dps, but, I know I don't. Since PZ hasn't been personable in a while, I decided that I would go with option three and see what happens. So, I went to Petsmart today to get more plants and different decorations for both Luau's bigger tank,(since I upgraded, I felt it was a little bare) and PZ's tank, since I was sick of looking at the decorations that were in Freddy's old tank....

Pretty satisfied with the way both tanks came out. Now Luau and PZ are pacing away at the left hand corners of their respective tanks because the abhor change. I'll post pics up as soon as I get a few to post (since I can't figure out how to do it with my damn phone). Let me know what you all think. =)
5.5g: Pond snails
5.5g: Red Cherry Shrimp and Rams
10g: PZ the Pee Wee (DP), Ghost shrimp, Otos x3
36g: Luau the F8, Zebra nerites x8, sometimes a herd of ghost shrimp for food
60g: Perches the starry blenny, 1 watchman goby Snaps the l.c. hermit, 2 emerald crabs, 1 red crab, 2 turbos, 7 asteas, 2 nerites, 2 clown gobies and 2 firefish gobies (upgrading to a 90 gallon reef)

RIP Yoshi, you are dearly missed <3

Nicely done
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly
