I just wanted to say that all who live in the eastern central and southern United States right now please stay alert to the weather and keep yourselves and our aquatic friends out of harms way! There is a massive tornado outbreak underway and a large destructive tornado is on the ground in western central Kentucky right now!

I'm in southern Indiana right across the Ohio river from Louisville, KY. That EF 4 tornado that flattened Marysville, IN wasn't all that far from where I live.

Our farm was four miles outside of the town limits. I dashed out of work and called when I found out, and the tornado missed the farm. Thank God.

Well I am heading out near the TX/OK panhandle with my storm chasing team. Looks to be another active couple of days with a few tornadoes possible.

Sorry for bringing back an old topic but it could be a very dangerous night in the southern United States. I almost got ran over by a rain wrapped tornado while storm chasing today here in Arkansas. Please pay attention to the weather as these storms will be very nasty and hard to track as some of them will be blowing thru with lots of wind and rain at 60MPH, you will never know in advance if a tornado will be embedded inside!
