These guys were all feeder fish out of the 25cent tank at walmart when we got them. The biggest guy got a bite out of his tail by a puffer who decided to be a phallus after a few days in the tank, now he has his own.

My freshwater, first pic is after cycling for a week with no fish, then with some goldfish before decorations went in. The second pic has two of those same goldfish still going strong and gotten a lot bigger along with a few others 9 months later.

OMG in only 9 months!? What did you feed them and how often? Mine usually take a year or two to reach that size!
That gold and white one looks just like my first fish back when I was a little kid. I had him for 5 years before he got killed by a nasty ich outbreak. My dad tried to help me treat him but it was too late.

I would like to remove a couple of the goldfish though if there is anyone in se wisconsin that would like some big goldies.

I really wished I could take them as I am about to set up a nice 150 gallon tank next week. However I am in NE Oklahoma and have other goldies.

For about 3 months they were the only guys in the tank and they were voracious eaters. Now they're up to pellets. I usually sprinkle in about 40 little (round) pellets and a pinch of flakes for the little guys. I think it's one of the reasons everyone gets along, plenty of food for everybody. I really like the pellets as they float for awhile before they sink so it's like a buffet, the big guys and the frog just come up and grab one and swim away to eat it. Even the mollys and betta will go and nibble on them.
