They "supposed" to be one of the more docile puffers in regards to keeping them with other puffer/fish but really would take that with a massive pinch of salt as each puffer has very different personality's.
Mine is currently be housed with a large porcupine at the lfs while my tank cycles and they live happily. Hes very interested in people and always comes over to say hello and see what your doing but tends to be a bit shy when i get my camera out lol. Theres a golden puffer housed next to him and he either gets very excited or very annoyed with the golden puffer, so like i said take it with a pinch of salt .
On the other hand, there is a stars and stripes in the lfs who simply runs a mile when someone goes to look in his tank. he hides in a pipe and peaks over until they have moved one and then comes back out. I think its just down to the puffers character as to how personable it is tbh.
On a side note in the uk they cost a bomb and are rare, so be prepared for a long wait and a big price tag not so sure what they are like to get hold of state side.
Also they can be a real pain to feed and need a really varied diet more so than things like sns etc , i cant remember the source and i dont no if this is true or not yet I was gonna post a thread on here about it.

my lfs had them this summer for $300 i would like to keep wrasse whit it could it b done

About what i paid for mine over here including the housing fee,its such beautiful puffer species can see why you want one

In truth i simply don't no, i don't see why not, it would be a mutually benificial partenership but id be cautious about it. I would like to keep one with mine as well.
I have asked in both of my lfs and they tolled me different things one stating it would be fine and the other saying they can die from toxins secreted by puffers and can cause sores on the puffer, i think the later is a bit of a misnomer though.
Hopefully some one more knowladgeable on the subject will pick up this thread and reply in more detail about wrasse and the diet requirements of this puffer species and shed some light on the subject for us.

I like them used to keep one with my sns was no problem at all.
my guineafowl is in with a big lipstick tang, thinking about gettin a clown tang in my tank at some point but need to do my reaserch first lol.
