Lighting
One of my light fixtures went today grrrr. Need a 5ft replacement fitting (preferably 2) for an aqua 1 tank, my bulbs are quite new so dont need to be included. Any ideas? Life is being cruel atm so need to keep cost down a little, or if anyone close by has some i can find some tradeable goods like filters or tanks. Checked the friday ad and nowt secondhand about lol
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

Re: Lighting
Still no secondhand luck yet grr. Found a twin lighting unit for £43 will have to modify my existing fittings to mount them though. If this works I may add 2 more bulbs. New question: would 2 powerglow 18000k bulbs be sufficient for a planted aquarium, or should I go for 4? The mount is 2x 40w or should I aim for more power? Or a powerglo 18000k and a flora glow2800k? I am so confused

more light the better , go for a good mix of red and blue for optimal plant growth...bertie 83 wrote:Still no secondhand luck yet grr.
