Is it going on an inside or outside wall?

Re: big tank
check which way your floor joists are running . You want them running , opposite way to your tank so that the weight is spread over as many joists as possible . Is the bottom of your stand flat or is it on legs ? , If its on legs you wanna put some board underneath to distribute the weight . If your unsure about how strong your floor is , invite some heavy friends round and get them all to stand in the spot where the tanks going ! lol .........oh and if you got a concrete floor , you've no worries !

Re: big tank
A tank that large, I would either use wood planks & cinder blocks or a real stand made to hold this kind of weight. You don't know for sure if that dresser will collapse under that kind of weight. Are there legs on the dresser?
Is there a basement underneath? I have my larger tanks (90+), held up in the basement by a floor jack, holding up the supporting beams.

Re: big tank
there are legs on the dresser but they are very wide and bulky...this is an extremely expensive dresser and the sturdiest dresser i have seen in my life...i have a crawl space underneath not a full basement
