Hello there,
Greetings from Brazil (althoug i´m a portuguese expat guy).
When i started developing the idea of a new aquarium, all i was thinking about was puffers! I have the advantage of freediving every weekend and with that, the ability of collecting them...
But i know NOTHING about puffers (although i´ve had aquarium reefs before) and when i started investigating about maintaining the singular fish.. i came across this fantastic forum! Congratulations!!
I hope to learn a lot from you all, and get all my newby-dumb-questions answered somehow... so be patient with me!

What kinds of puffers do you see there? How big is the tank you have for one? Can you collect live rock legally?

First of all, thanks for the wellcoming words .
Well, here in Brazil there are not too much restrictions on collecting live rock (there are not too much restrictions on anything, by the way! ) and when i was setting up the tank, i brought about 25kg of rock with me, full of sponges, algae, tiny corals and some things I´m starting to take notice now... and the same amount of sand too!
About the puffers, mostly I see the D. hystrix (too much), and the C. Rostratus is rather frequent also.
I will open a new topic about my "intended" setup and i really want to hear your opinions.

- My Puffers: 1 GSP (Microfiche) RIP, 1 Monotrete Turgidus (Leon) in a 30gal. 1 Monotrete suvattii in a 40 gal FW. 120 gallon BW with 3 juvenile Dragon Gobies (so cool). 55 gal with a 2" GSP named Hank. 180 gallon being set up for a Fahaka in the next few months!

"Darwin swings...annnnnnd a miss. Boy Jim, Chuck's suffered at the plate tonight. He's 0 for 3 and I'm not sure he's recovered from that shoulder pull a few weeks ago. I'll bet the front office is re-thinking that contract."

I wasn't absent... I'm always lurking and reading the posts. Recently, I've been reading about IPs before I lost one of my 3 F8s and the other 2 showed signs of IPs, and also my SAP.
Now, everyone is looking (and acting) fine.
There are so many people around the forum that I miss too, but everytime I see familiar friends helping each other and the new ones.
