black spots on stomach

my puffer has black marks on his stomach they are dark patchs that dont seem to be in any order just scattered and my puffer seems a little differeant any one know what this might be

Just it's spots--sometimes show on stomach.

U said the black stuff on their tummies are just their spots, but why do they come and go? Is it just some weird random thing or does it have to do with its mood, health, diet..etc? Just wonderin, tryin to figure these cute lil guys out. thnx

With the GSP they do go black on their belly depending on health and mood ( stressed). I have a clients who GSP's belly goes dark when eating ( their hunting colors). A dark belly alot of times means stress.

Shakespeare, my big GSP, has displayed the ability to continue the black spot pattern of his back onto his generally white belly, when he mood strikes him.

same here with the bigger of my 2 Green Spotted's Spike i was always unsure as to why but now i know.

My Fahaka sometimes gets these spots after he has been buried in the substrate.
