Are you gonna have hinges and such?
Those who say money can't buy happiness don't know where to find puffers.

no it is just going to be a slider type.
I may glue a handle on it so I can lift it for feeding.

I need to do that! I have no hood so a bunch of tiny flies and such get in my water and I have to skim them out along with the fact that I have no hood water evaps quickly which sucks
Fahakas are like dogs! They come up to you and say hi! Or they're just looking for food!

Evap is the reason why I am doing it.
One member on another forum said that I should have enough airflow between the tanks to not worry about condensation on the lower portions and that it would have an adverse effect on gas exchange. Ummmm... ok.. what ever. Not having it has an adverse effect on ones health in the form of mold unless the room temp matches the tank temp, and then you have winter. Lovely pools of water at the sill. No thanks, I'll just cover it.

Well I can't say it is the wife, so I suppose I'm guilty.

Re: Who's that idiot?? Cutting glass for an aquarium
1) because I didn't know better
2) because the starting edge didn't take right away. I had a problem with that where I lost a diamond because I started over the lip of the glass and it ripped the diamond off with the force I was putting on it.
Because this was all free hand I thought it best to to double score it. I "thought" it would be best because I didn't have a stable guide, it was best to double track so that any areas that lacked pressure would be rectified.
There a more than a few flaws in there and most have been noted, and as a first time (actually a third time thus the video), that this actually worked for me, I thought I would share.
In the previous attempts I used a cutter that was-sub par and ended up with a bin full of useless glass. These new cutters and free hand cutting seemed to to be note worthy.
