Good news! Cockle in the USA.
This is just by way of information for anyone living in the US that has had a hard time finding cockle, or else had to pay a ton for it --Costco carries cockle! Until today I have bought it at an imported food store in town. I was with my wife at Costco today and found some. They have large bags of frozen, as well as in the fresh section. It's much cheaper than going to our imports store.
It's a crayfish! It's a snail! It's a... ah who cares?
