No. But I know a number of adult E. nebulosa... Got one subadult to adult myself. I'm very sure it would shred any GSP I'd put in there to pieces.

Young Snowflake eels are always females. At around 1.5-2 feet about half of them become males. This gender change is accompanied by a change in dentition. While young E. nebulosa have short almost molar like teeth, the adult males get longer serrated teeth (not unlike some sharks) and they eat fishes. Short term (a few years that is) success with such a combo would not surprise me... but with an adult male? Forget it.

If you need to have a moray with a puffer (which I won't recommend), prefer a Zebra eel.

As a side note: It appears moray eels are immune to puffer poison. I've seen larger morays eat puffers without problems (once the belly is pierced puffing does not work anymore).
Give a man a fish, and he'll eat for a day. Give a fish a man, and he'll eat for weeks.

so do you think a zebra eel would be ok all the way through adulthood? I'm also worried if my gsp's would attack an eel. I have tried a violet goby, but it wasn't very big and only last about a month. I would think that an eel would have a better shot since it could defend itself better or actually swim away during the day when attacked.

For the record, I do not have an eel of any kind, but I have always wanted one.
