Any pro snail breeders out there?

i've been breeding pond snails for a few weeks and probably have thousands of eggs waiting to hatch. Right now, they are in a tiny little hermit crab cage with a small air driven internal filter. Its probably a 1/2 gallon or less i do about a 90% water change/vacuuming every 2 or 3 days.

Anyways, I was wondering if I could just throw in the adults in my 10g planted tank? Will they destroy all the plants?

From my experience they generally only eat dying bits of plants and excess food etc

Minor clarification. Full sized adult pond snails will definitely damage tender-leafed sumberse plants. But most hobbyists who have pond snails in their tanks end up with so many that few or none make it to full size. I never worry about common pond snails in my planted tanks as you have to work at controlling the population to get them up to full size. Apparently they prefer breeding to growing. Full sized common pond snails are uncommon.
