Turbo Snails.... GSP safe??

Post by zookey »

So these snails hitched a ride on the live rock into my tank..... they were attached so strongly to the rock I thought they were part of it. Now they roam around the tank ...... Was told they are Turbo Snails (?) and are about the size of golf balls.

So will these be safe from my GSP for a while? Or are they apt to become a snack for the GSP quickly? (The GSP is still only maybe 3 inches long)

I have had a couple with my two GSP's for the past 6 months with no problems. I think each of them got nipped at once and now any time one of the puffers get close to them they just go into their shell. The puffers don't bother them much any more.
