LionFish and Hermit Crab

Post by chuckfriedrice »

My wife has a White Spotted Hermit Crab ( guess who takes care of it) LOL. Its about the size of a computer mouse . We will be upgrading its tank ! She really wants to have a Lion Fish in the house . Would the 2 get along ! The crab is fed good and has never try to eat the Damsels its housed with! Would the 2 get along ? Or could the LionFish sting the crab by accident!

Yeah the White-spotted Hermit Crab (Dardanus megistos) can get to like 7 to 8 inches shes about 3 or 4 ! Its actually kinda hard to find shells without spending a fortune on conch shells, lol . Its a cool crab though , got to keep her fed or they lable them as fish killers! The 1 pic shes outta her shell , she ditched it when I moved her into a new tank ( shes bailed when I picke her shell up) ! Took 4 hrs for her to go back in !

That is so cool.

I figured it would eat it like my crays do. I hope you pulled it out so it doesnt rot lol. When you do you should let it dry out and leave it somewhere where others will see it and freak out.

I left my crabs old skin on the kitchen sink to freak out friends/family
