My LFS guy

Post by My HD PVR »

Well... the guy at my LFS who does the orders on fish pretty much talks to me when im there, and I always teach him information you guys teach me... He now gives me 10 dollar discounts when i do an order of 25 bucks for no reason... He also gives me snails whenever i want for free, and i take care of his porkys and they recognize me too! But yesterday I did an order of fish for him... How cool! (I ordered a lot of puffers...SHHH)
Noobs, it takes one to know one.

My LFS guy, Gary, is really cool. When I go in we chat forever about all kinds of FW/SW stuff that goes right over most people's (Not YOU guys, c'mon!) heads. He's given me free loot for being a good customer that's really into the hobby, we trade fish, all around a great local store and hip owner. He still won't gimme a job though, small store, heh heh.
29 Gallon Marine tank, with refugium, skimmer. Base rock, coral skeletons. Stock: Baby Ocellaurus Clown, young Saddled Toby, 3 Hermit crabs, one 2 inch Bristle Worm, hitch hiking starfish.

10g Biotope. 3 C. Travancoricus (Dwarf Puffer) Some Ghost shrimp, gravel/sand substrate, heavily planted with Swords and Java Moss.

10g LR Culture Tank. 10+ pounds fiji LR / base rock. Assorted hitch hiking inverts

Some FW tanks.

In My Experience, Fishkeeping is like Cooking. Five or ten basics will keep anyone from getting sick. But to be truly magnificent... You have to know the right Recipies.
