Grosse Bertha

Ok, so i have posted this pics on my homeforum back in 2009.
But, i love this pics so much i just wanna share them with my fellow TPF members

And so the story goes.... I have this huge monstersnail a applesnail (Pomacea (pomacea) canaliculata) she was so awesome...lol... yes i know im abit wierd, but i love not only puffers i love snails also....as pets
This snail we called her Grosse Bertha (or Big Bertha) ....the same name as a famous artillery-gun from the world war many years ago...

So i decided i wanna give her 15min of fame, we all love fame ...right :p

I took a couple of pics and some videos of her laying her eggs, and the topic about her was quite sucessful and people smiled, gave funny comments and so on...bla bla.....
So now I wanna share the pics here, she died back in 2010....r.i.p
This is my way to salute her one moore time She gave my puffers alot of food from her eggs..

youre not weird, i love snails too! im always trying to save the little baby land snails outside from getting stepped on XD

how big was she and how old was she? sorry to hear she died.

Since we all here have a puffer or 2 at home it's kind of natural to have a little heart for the snails as well
