Fahaka in store
i visit my LFS today and seeing some nice baby fahakas, im trying to get one since my tank is too small for the previous fahaka that i have, so i sold it to some guy that have a 220gallon tank for my fahaka!
however, im seeing some strange things on the body of the baby fahakas, most of them have some strange sphere like thing..
and a few is dieing with some crack like pattern on the belly. can someone tell me whether i should buy them or not?
and which should i pick? i want more strips and nicer colour when he grow and kinda long body too, should i choose one that have the best colour and longest body??
here is the link of the pics

I know this may sound harsh .. but 1 don't buy them or 2) get some nail clippers and cut it out. It is your call.

Re: Fahaka in store
Do you have a tank large enough now to house one?
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

Re: Fahaka in store
avoid it...
wait until you have a proper set up. 1) they have a disease, 2) the tank is too small.

Re: Fahaka in store
I agree with JP, those arent 100% health and your tank is to small. So wait till both those come together. It will make it the easiest and best for you and the fish. I did the my tank is big enough for now thing and it was a pain.

Re: Fahaka in store
It does look like some sort of parasite. I'd leave them in the shop & see if it gets better. Although, I wouldn't expect many to be left after a week or so of fighting...
