Pea Puffer Setup
Pea Puffer Setup
I have a 15 gallon tall. I bought it because it fits neatly on my shelf. I was thinking of getting 3-4 pea puffers but wanted to make sure this wasn't too small considering it is a tall. The ratio would be 1 male to 2-3 females. It would be lightly planted at the least and heavily decorated. Or perhaps heavly planted if I can mange. I'm not great with plants. :/ Also should I buy adults so they can be sexed or can I grow out a few juveniles. My LFS is good about being able to sell things to them. But I go back and forth on whether this is the right thing. It's done with cichlids when trying to get a pair but puffer fish aren't really ones to care as far as I know. Anyway advice please~

Reverse the planting (heavy) and the ornaments (light). Definitely include Java Moss - for me it is their preferred spawning site.
