6" MBU not moving much

I have this MBU for about 5 weeks, it eats regularly one market pawn once per day.

it has grown bigger, by it self at 65 gallons tank.

however it doesn move much, it always stays at the bottom at the time.....would it start swimming after it grow bigger.

or i should put other fish with it.

Don't, save your money since those fish need a 1000 gallon tank.

this fish needs 1000 galllons probably bored . how big is he, is the tank cycled?

i dont mean to offend anyone, but is it normal for MBU stay at the bottom and not moving much.
is each individual has different personality, maybe some love to move around, some just enjoy not moving?

of course the tank is cycle, i have it for 5 weeks, it eats regularly and it did grow bigger.

can someone pls help answer the question......

for the ppl who actually have raise MBU puffer, should i put some community fishes with it, maybe he just feel boring be it self?

mbus are generally active from my experience what are your water test readings? are you ready for a 1000 gallon tank? dont want to sound harsh tho

thats approx 300 gallons per week waterchange by the way

No one on this site is going to say you should put fish in with your mbu in such a small tank, regardless if they have raised one or not. 6" may seem small, but his bio load is not. I also agree that he is probably bored due to his tank size.

then there must be something wrong with puffer, my water should be fine, i do 25% water change every 5days, i have FX5, and aquaClear 500.

I used overnight water with nearly same temp and with airstone to keep the water running. I dont think there is problem with water if my stingrays can survive i dont see how it would do any negative with puffer.

what would be idea temp?? i have my around 27-28.

the tank is not big enough no matter how much filtration i would not have temp over 26 c . puffers grow fast-fast-fast dont stunt him he needs a bigger home
