How do i make my gsp more agressive?
How do i make my gsp more agressive?
My GSP seems to be scared of everything-especially when i make quick hand movements. Currently, he's living with 2 crayfish and he seems to be terrified of them. How do i make him more aggressive?

About 4 months. It's a 20g long. And i quarantined the tank with copper in the beginning. He eats snails and ghostshrimp fine.

Let's see a full tank shot. Generally, a fish will act more secure if it has lots of decor to retreat to.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

That's pretty nice. Add some fake plants up the sides & back.

I have a shy gsp too, it took him some time to adjust, but he is still very passive. I don't believe there is anything you can do to change that, some are just timid. He isn't afraid of me anymore at least.

Nope, that plant will "melt" for sure at that SG. Go with plastic or silk.

Mine is very cautious, he will not come to the glass when I hold my finger near the glass, but that could be because of the LFS he came from. No seriously they're cruel.sevenyearnight wrote:I have a shy gsp too, it took him some time to adjust, but he is still very passive. what do you guys feed your puffers? I've only fed him ghostshrimp, bloodworms, and some snails. Also what food do you give your puffers to trim his teeth down besides snails?

Balki gets mussels, shrimp in the shell, squid tentacles, red wrigglers, clams, scallops, mysis shrimp. He won't eat anything with eyes.
