New addition not sure what it is, any help?

One of the takifugu? Have you had a look in the id section? (pufferpedia)

yea I was looking through but I'm not sure how to navigate this site I'm a little lost.

I can't find anything that looks similar I'll just keep looking, thanks for the help.

Ok everyone I was told by a good friend that it is a type of sand puffer. He is very aggressive and the only time he comes out of the sand is to eat. Thank you for all your help.

That would make him an "ambush predator". I'll PM Corvus for the ID. Where did you find it?

Gotcha thank you. Its from the Gulf of Mexico I got it from a friend it was to aggressive for him. Do you know much about them?

I'nm sure Corvus will have better info but I think it's good to assume, no tank mates!

Based on the last pic I would guess Southern puffer sphoeroides nephelus.



I definitely think it might be one of the Sphoeroides

Thanks for the link it really helped. After looking through the link you sent me I think it is a Sphoeroides greeleyi green puffer seeing him in real life looks most like those ones. I'm glad to have an idea now.
