Fluval M-series heaters, good or bad?

Well finally going to exchange my Marineland Stealth Pro heater to PetSmart tomorrow. Well right when I thought I bought a really nice heater and they are malfuctioning some way or form, bummer. But anyways, PetSmart has the Fluval M-series now and heard mixed opinions on these heaters too. Might go ahead and exchange for a Fluval M-series 300 watt heater but atleast I will have a recipt just incase it fails. What to know if anyone in here has one of these newer Fluval M-series heaters?

When I was looking at new heaters at the end of last year I considered them after using the Fluval Tronic series for a long time. I had several of them and most of them misted up inside the glass over time but never malfunctioned on the thermostat side in the years of service I had them in the tanks. In the end I passed on them only because of the tank rating to wattage and wanted something a little more economical.

I read up on these heaters and like I metioned a bad/good mixed reviews on them but so did I hear about the Stealths too but still never had any problems with my Stealth but dont want to keep a heater that is exploding for most people. Who knows my Stealth may last for years but still can't take any chances. So Im going to go and exchange it when I get a chance for maybe a 300 watt Fluval M series. Wish me luck.

Well just wanted to update this post. My Fluval M-series heater has last lasted 7 months without any problems and still works great.
