Seeding new filter with media?

Seeding new filter with media?
I found a tank on CL that I may buy. I'm getting it for my SAP's. If I move all the plants, media etc. To the new tank will it be safe to put them in the new tank immediately? I don't want to hurt my guys. It would be great if this is safe because I really don't have the room to set up another tank and wait for a cycle. If I have to though I will.

As long as the filter/media is from an established tank, then you should be good to go.

I second that. I do it all the time. Just be sure to keep the biomedia wet and not stagnant too long.
