Puffers are seasonal. I got my red Congo from him about 5 years ago.

I really don't remember for sure, it was 5 years ago but $50 seems to stand out in my mind. Not sure if that included shipping or now. I spoke to him last week & he didn't have any red Congos.

Amen. Paying the same price or more for shipping seems a bit ridiculous to me, but if a person really wants a certain fish there isn't much else to do.

There are two at OC Tropical Fish in Lake Forest Ca. The owner could probably ship them.

He feeds them frozen hikari freshwater shrimp (new product he is testing, designed for puffers per the HIkari sales guy). Hikari cichlid pellets and bloodworms. Very active and they are not aggressive to each other at all.
20 gallon on its way to being heavily planted with one Monotrete Cochinchinensis and RCS as snacks/clean up crew - Puff tank
40 gallon South American Planted Tank.

Let the owner know, he can probably get you one. I love my little fangs but a Congo would be sweet!

I talked to chris (owner) earlier, were gonna work out a trade between some of my fish and a congo puffer. hopefully a red or white, but any colour will work.
