Where to find Brown Puffer?

Post by El Scorpio »

I'm looking for a Brown Puffer (Monotrete turgidus) for my fiance, but I'm having a heck of a time finding one. Anyone know a good place to look?

Fishinabowl recently shut down their online store. They're saying that they are concentrating on breeding, but can still be found on Aquabid.

Totally forgot about Aquabid! Unfortunately, no brown puffs at the moment. The search continues...

This place has some, scroll down, the call it a common red eye puffer...ask for a better pic if you can. The pic they have is *probably* a turgidus.. $12.25 + shipping

This place has an abei, similar to a turgidus so I thought you might be interested

I think you're right, that 'common red eye puffer' looks a lot like a brown puffer. If it ain't, it's awful close to one. I think someone might be getting the gift of pufferfish for valentine's day. :)

Close enough for one of the target species. The "common" puffer is usually the cutcutia. Ask them for a pic of the exact puffer they'd be sending you.
