is it possible to convert a HOB filter into a proper overflow to lead to a sump?

it can be done.. but the break syphon part is the problem. "Yunachin" did a write up on this .. or maybe Myaj ... it is here somewhere in the forum ;) It will take some searching but I am sure you can find it.
