Feeding FW shrimp to SW Puffers

Post by J-P »

Does anyone do this? Good idea or bad idea?

Just wondering if I can feed the shrimp I breed to a smaller SW puffer. If the puffer doesn't take the food right away how long will the little guys survive in the tank (the amount of time before I have to start looking for dead bodies)?

Thanks in advance :)

Well, frozen brine shrimp or mysis are fed with in marine tanks all the time, so I don't see why not? These are just speculations :)

Brine shrimp are from saltwater. Mysis are from both.
