... in a 40 gallon breeder?
Would this be too cramped?
GSP is now pushing 4 inches.
(40 breeder = 45 gallons actually.)
Thanks!

Very much so, not sure about the damsel but the tomato and GSP will get to 6" so with both of them a 4' tank would be ideal. A 55 would even be a little cramped if your gonna have alot of live rock.

Ah, thanks Bcummings!
I figured it may be too much... guess he's on his own
(until the next tank upgrade.)
Thanks for the check... makes the decision easy that way.
I'm sure he'd be happier on his own anyway.

Kind of sounds like my mix. I have a puffer, tomato, and a yellow tail. Mine are in a 150 tho...

Sounds perfect for a a 55g but remember damsals like groups of 3 or more & can be quite territorial. I find the yellowtails to be the nicest.

my yellowtail is the nicest damsel i have owned. my yellowbelly will chase him, yellowtail flares up his top fin, the other will back off even though hes about 1/2 inch, and he goes back to his business lol
