floating plants

For you planted tank enthusiasts out there, do you know of a way to keep floating tanks in a specific area so that they don't float to where you don't want them to go? Even some inexpensive DIY ideas would be nice.

Also, I really like hornwort, but the little blooms they let off are highly annoying. Does anyone have a solution for that?

Hosepipe coiled up into a circle and clamped together. Or a plastic koi feeding ring. Not bullet proof a big fish could easily create enough surace movement to set some floating plants free. Worth ago for a cheap piece of hosepipe.

I used a suction cup and some fishing line for some, others (because I have a specialized tank) I used breeder nets hanging on the back and let them grow out from there.

Wow. How do you use the breeder nets?

I purchased a tonne of parrot feather, cut small slits in the breeder nets, had the majority in there but some sticking out. They did REALLY well until they went to seed and then most died. I still have some new baby parrot feather growing in them
