So, finally got Georgie, my baby Abei. Currently hidding in a corner with the lights out so no pics yet. I'm hoping it does well but am not sure as the shop bag leaked and so it didn't have much water left in it when I got home so had to rush the aclimitizing and instant cycling with media from my other tanks.

I've put some cherry shrimp and baby apple snails in the tank for if it decides to eat. I'm going to try some large bloodworm in the morning as that's something it was fed with in the shop.

Fingers crossed Georgie settles in quickly.


Ooooh, I can see the little shadow of it moving around the tank and it was playing in the bubble stream I have for it! :-) I'll see if it settles in enough for me to take a piccie later on tonight. :D

Oh Tara, he's absolutely beautiful!! What a lovely little Abei, and looks in good health too. I liked that you said he was playing in the bubbles. I love to watch my puffers doing that. :)

I missed George a lot after the ex got custody and was soooo excited to see Abei's in the shop in London :-) Very personable puffers

Thanks BiggieSmalls, when I got home today Georgie came straight up to say hi and then started playing in the bubbles while waiting for me to feed it. Munched away like mad and is now back playing in the bubbles again. :-) Looks tiny in the tank all by it'self though LOL

He is a funny one. He's currently snoozing behind a leaf but occassionally peers over the top of it as if to see if I'm still here or not and then he slowly sinks down behind it again LOL It's like he's playing peek-a-boo!

He seems to have hunted the cherry shrimp I put in there last night as well :-)
