Protein Skimmer Brand?
Protein Skimmer Brand?
I'm about to order a protein skimmer for a 120 gal. new marine aquarium. Any suggestions for a brand? I'm looking at Marineland 100, Coralife Super and Red Sea Prizm. Thannks!

CoralVue Octopus. They arent overly expensive and if you do a little research you'll find they're one of the best on the market. Highly recommended.

Are you looking for a HOB? Forget the Prism. The CSS is an OK skimmer, not sure the 220 is big enough though. What do you plan on keeping in that tank?

CSS 220 is not big enough for a 120g, unless lightly stocked.
Forget about the Marineland 100 aka seaclone, they are trash!
On a 120 you should have a sump. It will really help out a good deal. If you cant use a sump for some reason I would suggest a Octopus BH 2000
