Thanks guys, he has lightened up considerably and has a nice yellowy white belly and if you really peer can see a red splodge developing on one of his stripes. He is gorgeous and currently epxloring the lower levels of the tank. Going to leave another couple of hours and then try the lights, more piccys hopefully tomorrow!!!

Thanks very much, it is hard to imagine he is going to get behemoth size, he is about 2 inches and here are some slightly healthier pics and a first small snack on bloodworm
He is everything can imagine and even my partner is smitten and keeps going to check on him. Cant wait to try him on all the different foods!
Well he has been here a week, and me and Alex are really taken with him, I tried him on unshelled mussel last night and well...
He is coming along nicely and already recognises mum and food lol
