Quite a surprise to see
Went to the LFS about two weeks ago and we saw 3 golden puffers, really unusual to see and they are very much more fish shaped than puff from what i could see, he had them in with lots of other fish such as rainbows and I let him know that they may shred things if he keeps them there. Well went back yesterday and no damage at all. I know a short amount of time but it was good to see an unusual puff for this area and mixed in in a decent sized tank with other fish that seemed to work for the lfs at least.

I think it's definetly possible for that sometimes. My GSP live with some coral and ever1 said it was imposibble.

I've got a Nefastus puffer that lives happily with a Bornean Redeye. It happened by accident, as I was supposed to be putting in a divider and the Bornean pushed his way past and ended up hanging out with the Nefastus, so I let them stay together. It's been months now and they are still doing very well together. I wouldn't have thought it myself because I thought Nefastus were evil little buggers, but it's working and they seem okay together.

That is an interesting combination pufferpuggirl! As always kinda tempted, but being strong for the big vision lol! Though perhappps they would be an interesting alternative to try..hmmm. It is funny as Im the avid puffer person in this area and they know it (even though Im such a newb), he tries to tempt me everytime I go in!
