Snails To Feed

Post by Dandee »

I have been trying to get some Ramshorn snails ordered in for feeding to my puffer but it has been two months and they can't get them. None of the LFS carry them. Can anyone recommend another type of snail that I can feed to him. It is my understanding that MTS's have too hard a shell that he/she could possibly break his teeth.

Pond snails. Your lfs may even thank you if you go in and offer to pick them out of their plants for sale.
Come on, fhqwhgads. I see you jocking me. Trying to play like... you know me.

My lfs doesn't have live plants. The ones in the city do though. Next time I'm there I'll have to ask.
Thank you. :D

http://www.aquabid.com or eBay, or if there's a local fishkeepers club, ask them to ask their members if anyone has any pest snails they'd give or sell you (pond or ramshorn).
