Fahaka filtration?

Post by Pandora114 »

Me and the husband are playing around with getting a Fahaka when we get to where we're moving. Now...I KNOW We'll have sufficient notice prior to our next move for us to set up a temporary tank for one and arrange for it to get shipped when we get to our new place and set up, all while keeping the filter media alive during the drive by aerating it and feeding it ammonia (they are aerobic bacteria right?) every night.

We have a Rena XP2 Canister. Is that sufficient for a Fahaka or will we need to upgrade?

I would add a large HOB filter, like an Aquaclear, you can clean every couple of weeks, for mechanical/extra biological filtration.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...
