I have received this type of mineral rock with crystals. I was wondering if it is safe to put in my brackish tank.

I cannot remember the mineral composition, but have an idea that it will at least fairly soluble. I would not use this in a tank without knowing a lot more.

barite or gypsum (probably?) with sand inclusions.... definitely water soluble.
