Is this safe to put in my tank?

Tain't fresh, and tain't marine! Talk about brackish setups.

I have received this type of mineral rock with crystals. I was wondering if it is safe to put in my brackish tank.

I cannot remember the mineral composition, but have an idea that it will at least fairly soluble. I would not use this in a tank without knowing a lot more.

barite or gypsum (probably?) with sand inclusions.... definitely water soluble.
When life gives you lemons, make grape juice.
Then sit back and watch as everyone tries to figure out how you did it.
