ok so i got an aquarium from somebody, and it needs a little fixing. when they gave it to me it only had wood trim on the top without a hood, and this wooden trim is all cracked up and stuff, so i know i need to replace that and i already have the replacement. so i need help with how to get the old brocken one off, it seems to be superglued on or something. also i dont really know where to go from there! any help would be greatly preciated!!! ps its a 72 gallon bow!
im trying to get pictures on it up here form my computer but im not very computer savvy!

Usually the trim is just attached with silicone. Use a razor blade to try and cut it away.

Have you seen it full of water yet? I suggest if the tank is in that bad of shape, re-silicone the entire thing.

I agree with PufferPunk. I made the mistake of only resealing one joint and ended up having to remove all the water so I could reseal it yet again. Better to do it while you have it empty and dry, it's very easy to do, but make sure to remove all the old first. Sorry if that sounds so basic, but I didn't remove the old stuff the first time and learned from that.
