Nutritional value of plankton?
What is the nutritional value of plankton? I want to feed it to my figure 8 puffers. The cubed frozen sanfransico bay brand type.

It's a fine food, I buy it in bulk & use it for all my fish. Just be sure to always feed a varied diet.

Just be aware that it is very small. They are like daphnia or cyclops, and they are fine particulate-type food. My F8s seem to think they aren't proper food, but my smaller fish like B. uropthalmoides (exclamation point rasboras) love them and can actually get them in their mouths unlike foods like mysis shrimp.
