agression from 1 of my new dps

yesterday i got 4 little dwarfs, im pretty sure that its 1 male + 3 females, but 2 of them are really tiny, so possibly still could b males! anyways, the 1 that i know for sure is a male is being really agressive to the other 3. chasing them if they come near him etc. hes only doing it to the puffers tho, at the min theres 5 white clouds in there aswell, hes not at all interested in them! anyone got any idea what it could b? cheers

They like to defend their territory. I've found one of the best ways to diminish aggression is to get lots of plants. What they can't see they won't go after. Puffers need their line of sight broken to keep them peaceful. If you've just gotten them, he might calm down once they've all acclimated to their new surroundings, it could be his way of telling them he's the boss. But I'd still make sure you have lots of plants and/or ornaments in your tank to keep things broken up, as well as giving hiding places to the other puffers so they can retreat should he get a little too aggressive. I keep a rather large pack of dwarf puffers and they all seem to get along really well, but I definitely think there's a hierarchy, and they all have their places. I think once they find out who's the boss and where they fit in the "pack" that things quiet down quickly. I love watching my DP's going around in their group, it looks so funny to see them all moving together like a puffer mob.

thats probably just him being a meanie soon enough the other puffers might start nipping back. my two dwarfs will nip at each other if they come to close to each other
