hi, are dog face puffers compatible with cow fish?

I'm pretty sure Cowfish release Ostracitoxin when stressed or when they die (I say this because I believe that Boxfish and Cowfish are the same thing... Correct me if I am wrong) which can be fatal to any other fish in the tank very quickly, even the same species. It's a risk to house anything with it.

What species of cowfish is in question? Each species is more sensitive to other fish and surroundings and some are more likely to release ostracitoxin then others.
