Hi there!
I have a question about T. Fluviatilis.
A have two, 15 gallons tanks..
(i also have a 150 gallon tank with discus)
And i am planning for years to also keep Puffer fish.
The only species my LFS could me supply with was the fluviatillis.
Are the very agressive, because its hard to find any info on it.
And how much water do the need per fish?
I was thinking about making a couple of hiding spaces in it..
maybe you guys can help me out?
Greetz,
Peter

They, like any other puffer are aggressive, suited to species tanks or singe specimen per tank. They need a minimum of 30 gallons per fish, as they grow to 8 inches. Check out http://www.pufferlist.com for more info, or search the forums.

Yes, please check the Puffer List, as I would be surprised that the puffers at that shop are labled properly--probably nigroviridis.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...
