Safe to keep a small Pig Nose with a friend?

Just checking ... just got myself a small Pig Nose - only about 2 1/2" long. He seems to just like to rest after eating ... not very active. Ok to introduce him to a small, quiet Cichlid?

What do you think? Why? The Cichlid is getting a bit beat-up in his tank ... hoping to give him a rest, or make a new friend.

That's not going to work. They don't really make "friends."

Suvattii puffers are piscivores, meaning they eat live fish. I would be reticent to put anything in with yours, even though it's small, do not let it deceive you, it can still do alot of damage even at that size. I used to have 3, and now I have 2 suvattii, and the only other "friend" I've been able to keep with them is a Palembangensis puffer (Humpback), they seem to get on well, but I would not attempt any other tankmates.

Sure they make friends! Every fish that comes near them is invited over for dinner!
Mine eats everything in sight, including the 5 inch goldfish I stored in his tank in a mesh bag overnight.....ate right through the mesh bag.
