Should I skip one day a week when feeding my 3 DP's bloodworms?

Some people do. I feed mine anywhere from daily to every three days. They seem to do well that way.
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

Same here. It sometimes happens my LFS doesn't have bloodworms when I go there and they go without for four days or more.

I think it mimics their natural feeding habits. They eat a lot when they get the chance, and they probably don't find food every day. For other fish, feeding several times a day or leaving food in the tank is more natural, like for algae eaters.
