Hey everyone, I've noticed that when I turn on the lights in the morning my F8's colour is kind of dull. Once the lights are on for a minute or two then his colour is just as vibrant as ever. He's a healthy fish just weird with his colour, anyone else experience this?
-Thanks, Steve.

Hey Leroy
That's totally normal, it probably just takes him a few minutes to wake up
My puffers colour goes dull when they've eatten a lot and they're resting and digesting it all
also if they're startled they can go a pailer colour than they usually are

Re: Figure 8 Colour
My fish (DPs) change color all the time. They do it especially at feeding time, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did it when they slept.
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

Cool, good to know and thanks for the replies. I'll keep an eye out when I feed him next to see if anything happens with his colour.
