My Puffers: 40 gallon-1 GSP named PUFF DADDY!

Snail for puff q's

okay so i got 7 snails in the mail

until my new filter comes in my puff is in a 5g

and i put the snails in a 3 gal bowl with 3 pieces of lettuce but they dont seem to be coming out of thier shells

i put a smaller one with my puff and he took 1 hit at it and then left it alon...

what should i do?

Let the snails be,they will come out soon.

Snails may take up to 24 hours to come out after transportation.

he is a GSP

soon to be moved to his new 40g

i crushed one and fed it to him and i think he ate it before i even saw it

hes fast

but yea do you think once they start comin out he'll eat them without being crushed?

Generally they can easily eat snails that are the size of the puffer's eye. Any bigger than that and they may need a little help by you partially crushing it first, at least until they get the hang of it ;)
