Hey Guy's
I was back at my LFS and I noticed that the porcupine puffer had a fin missing (the pic is not of the actual puffer, it's just a pic to show you which fin is missing)
There was a VERY small part of it left
Would this grow back?
He seems to still be able to swim round ok with no problems

It's my understanding that the caudal ray (fin) on a porcupine puffer is the least necessary for locomotion. It's more of a "steering" appendage - think of a boat rudder. I don't know if it will grow back but, in any case, the other rays are likely to compensate for the loss of the caudal ray.

If given pristine habitat to live in with vitamin enriched diet and persistent water changes it will most likely grow back.
