Ran outta snails,not getting anymore till im in the city:*(

Well im outta snails to feed to Puff Puff , what can i feed him to maintain his beak till further notice? he likes boiled egg with the shell. Would that serve the same purpose ?( the boiled shell that is ). Any suggestions?
The city is 4 hours away and my dad said i cant go their unill may or late june , and im looking in my area for snail breeders.

Don't feed your puffer eggs.
Do you have a grocery store near you? Go buy raw, frozen, shell on shrimp. Thaw them out in tank water and feed it to them. The same thing works with any crustacean, just make sure it's raw and frozen, then thawed out.

I was thinking about the nutritionaly value ( i feed egg to fry and yound new fish to give them a jump start )
and the fact that egg shell was hard and so is a snail shell

Check out the feeding article in the library. I don't even bother with snails anymore. My puffers just turn their head up and swim away. I feed mussel's, clams, crab, shrimp, scallops etc.

If you want to keep snails on hand, then consider breeding them yourself (sounds like you might be considering this anyway). You can get your start by looking in the Classifieds section of this site for a snail source, or you can order some ramshorns or pond snails off ebay. Either way, they'll get you going in no time and from then on you'll have more snails than you can use, probably.
