food for DP

So far my DP have had a limited diet of frozen bloodworm! Which I know isnt the best but all my LFS seem to have had issues with live food ie bloodworm and daphnia!
I have 8snails in there with them (hopefully going to get breeding!) but for now I went to a LFS which has small snails and I got some for free as they are pests. I put a few of them in and quite quickly the DP's came and ate them. but they didnt eat the shells! the shellls are in the tank but are empty! did anyone else find this?
What other food can I give these guys?

They usually won't eat the shells, but will crunch on them to dull their beaks.
DPs mostly eat snails and blood worms, but you could try pieces of raw, shell on frozen shrimp (thawed, of course).

they have been attacking my big snails! which is kinda cute as the snails are massive in comparision!

i tried some shrimp with my DP's, they got scared and hid. they love live snails (their staple) and yeah they don't touch the shells. so i have a ton of empty ones lying around after each feeding until i go and take them out. they go nuts for blood worms. just fed them some the other day, they weren't sure it was food at first, and then they figured it out, and went crazy, darting all over the tank for them. it was wicked funny.

Baby shrimp work well too. In fact I believe my CRS had babies and my puffer ate em all

I've begun soaking my bloodworms/shrimp in vitamins. They still go nuts for them, and it makes a more complete meal!

you can also try the little sea monkey kits. They aren't much of a meal but mine loves chasing them down.

I soak my DPs bloodworms in Vitachem so she gets all her vitamins. It seems that she's picked off all the baby snails that were in her tank already
