bumble bee gobies laid eggs!
bumble bee gobies laid eggs!
I was changing my water today and when I took my filter off its bracket I noticed a bunch little eggs! I haven't been seeing my BBGs lately but, I knew they were inside the bracket in between the filter. Its sorta like a little cave. Two are missing out of my five but I wouldn't be surprised if I fine them next water change. I have the eggs in a breeder. What else should I do? It will pretty cool if they hatch!

Mine spawned once, but 90% of the eggs died, and the few fry that were born didn't last long. The only thing I can think of that might be small enough for these fry to eat would be foods for particle -feeding corals.
No matter how magnificent your successes or devastating your failures, the worlds' approximately 5 billion impoverished people could not possibly care less.

Congrats. I hope they hatch!
The only thing you should eat that smiles are goldfish crackers.

Laid eggs again! The last one's that I put in the a breeder by them selfs didn't hatch probably weren't fertilized. I think i have one male and two females used to have 5 a year ago now I have 3. :/ Not sure what the to with the eggs anyone know anything about breeding BBGs? I think the two females are the huge dark ones and the male is the small bright yellow one with hardly no stripes I mean he's almost neon yellow when in the breed mood. I have a breeder that I can put the eggs into but I don't know which combo of fish / fishes I Should put in it? male, female, male & female. I think the male is the one guarding them right now. Also I'm wondering if they eat there young if in a breeder? I imagine yes..
